(d. 1567) Writer, publisher, printer, pastor. In Krakow, he collaborated with the Krakow printing houses: F. Ungler, H. Wietor and M. Scharffenberg, and ran a bookstore. In 1532 or 1533 he had a printing house in Pułtusk, and again in 1539-1540. In 1537, he became a Lutheran pastor for the Polish population in Ełk, and a superintendent. In Ełk, he ran a printing house in the years 1551-1558 and founded a school at the church. He studied the pagan religion of the Prusians, Livonians and Lithuanians. He argued with J. Seklucjan. He probably also printed in Poznań; pioneer of education in Polish in Masuria.
